Office Admin & NEHEMIAH Project Assistant

Reports to Nehemiah Coordinator, Operations Manager &
Fayetteville Urban Ministry Executive Director
SCHEDULE
40 hours Fulltime
Primary Hours: Daily Operations

RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Perform intakes and qualifying process of potential clients for Nehemiah Project.

Assist with fundraising projects. –On limited basis assist with mailouts or follow up calls

Assist with volunteer/intern/work study individuals training on office skills.

Answering phones front lobby to desk on particular days. Lobby presence and host on particular days.

Preparing, typing, copying, and filing documents, including correspondence, newsletters, reports, program materials, funding applications, publicity, mailing and others as needed by FUM staff.

Answering telephone calls for Nehemiah Coordinator and handling messages to staff members for calls or walk-ins.

Telephone calling as needed for services and activities for clients.

Setting up appointments and maintaining calendar for Nehemiah clients

Maintaining computer and written FUM records of activities and services.

Communication with volunteer, donors, and other FUM staff.

Assist in maintaining client records and confidentiality.

Great working relationship with contractors, vendors and partners to Nehemiah Project & FUM.

Other miscellaneous duties as determined by Nehemiah Coordinator and FUM Leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS

Honesty and dependability.

Proficiency in typing, computer skills, and record keeping, familiarity with Microsoft Office software.

Good communication skills and telephone manner.

Strong organizational skills.

Good human relations abilities

Work independently and on a team.

Be able to accept responsibility and take initiative.

Have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.
